Educational videos are extremely valuable and widely used in the science classroom today. A good collection of instructional videos is available online at http://www.hippocampus.org. Some examples of videos that RESEED volunteers use are presented below. These videos are in the Windows Media Format (.wmv), so a plug-in is required. Internet Explorer is recommended as the browser, which will prompt you to add the plug-in. Allow several minutes for the videos to load. Each video has a running time of about 2 minutes. An excellent student interactive video that helps teach the gas laws is also available on request. Please send your inquiry to drjcast@aol.com.
